Our Church Organization

We believe the Church should not be inwardly focuses so we have been trying to eliminate bureaucracy wherever possible and keep our focus on our missions and ministries. As a result we have created one central leadership body (ALC/Aldersgate Leadership Council) that meets twice a month to prayerfully consider our vision and mission and to lead the church accordingly. All the other sub-groups are called MATs or Mission Action Teams. Some are mandated and long termed, while others exist for the length of their original purpose or mission and then dissolve. We have listed some of the teams below. For a more thorough explanation of polity please ask one of the leaders or Pastor David. If you are interested in learning more about these committees, or in serving on a committee, please contact us.
