Youth of Aldersgate Leadership Team
Our youth are being empowered to lead much of their own program! This team is comprised of JR-SR High representatives and adult leaders. We meet monthly to plan events, assess the progress of our youth program, and participate in leadership responsibilities. In the near future our goal is to have at least one representative from each grade on the team.
This program:
- Will teach them how to become leaders by giving them the skills they need to know and then allowing them to practice those skills through planning, organizing and implementing events for the youth group.
- Will help them take ownership for their needs and wants within the church.
- Will give them an opportunity to care for the spiritual growth and well being of other church members.
- Will provide them with skills that they can use at school and in their future.
