Outreach and Missions
The Outreach/Missions Committee coordinates activities that reach into t
he community, across the nation and the world. The committee directs money from mission pledges and cell tower income to a variety of projects and service agencies. Ongoing programs include: support for children in the Congo (Hope for the Children of Africa), a mission and school for indigenous students in the Philippines, United Methodist Committee on Relief's (UMCOR) crises reaction teams worldwide, Operation Nightwatch’s street mission in Seattle, Crossroads Community Center dinners, and Hopelink, the Eastside’s multi-service organization and food bank.
Information about these and other outreach projects is posted on the kiosk in the narthex.
