1 | Deborah Circle This group meets on the first Monday of each month at 7pm in homes of the members. The evening includes devotions, business and a program. The programs vary and include speakers from local charity organizations. This is a very casual group and joining is a great way to make friends in a small group setting. 2 | Merry Quilters This group meets on Friday mornings at church year round. Among other projects they make the beautiful quilts Aldersgate gives to each child who is baptized in our church. 3 | Knitting Group This group meets once a month at church and create the wonderful prayer shawls available to those in need of comfort. Contact Gretchen Stuenkel 425-453-5034 | Hiking Saturday and Sunday afternoon trips after service to Mt. Rainier and other local trails to walk, talk and enjoy God's wonderful creations. Might even come down from the mountain with a commandment or two :-) Senior High Youth and others welcome too... Ths is not technical hiking... although one should be in walking shape. Each year the choir performs a special Christmas concert. During the summer months we have various soloists performing during the service. 5 | Mary Martha This group meets on the third Thursday of each month (except July and August) at 9:30 am in Room 21 at the church.
In December, the group gathers at a local restaurant for a Christmas luncheon. During the meetings the group takes care of any business items, does some sharing and reads and discusses a portion of a study book. Three months out of the year the Mary Martha Circle serves coffee after the second worship service. Other activities include working with the Merry Quilters and Deborah Circle to plan the spring salad supper in April, the bake sale in December and deciding how the funds raised by these three groups shall be dispersed for mission. All women are welcome.
