Mission Statement
Christian Education at Aldersgate United Methodist Church will develop a foundation of faith for a lifelong commitment to God, Christ and the Holy Spirit through Bible studies and classes, prayer, fellowship and giving. The joy of our faith will be experienced through worship, celebration and fun.

Aldersgate UMC strives to provide Christian Education for people of all ages. We offer a variety of study experiences.  

 

Adult Education and Bible Study

This class meets during the school year on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. For more information, click here.

Children's Sunday School

Classes are available for children from Pre-School through fifth grade from 10:00am-11:00am between the worship services.  Sunday School starts with a Music Time followed by age-appropriate classroom time. 

 

Children attend worship  with their parents at 8:50am or 11:00am. There is a Children’s moment during both services.  Quiet activities are available to occupy children while they attend worship.  There is a Family Room available to take restless children that has a full view of the sanctuary and audio of the entire worship service. 

 

Nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided all morning.

Youth Sunday School

Class is available for youth from 6th grade through 12th grade from 10:00am-10:45am between worship services.  For more information, click here.  Youth attend worship with their parents at 8:50am or 11:00am.

 

Aldersgate Christian Preschool (ACP)

Aldersgate Christian Preschool offers preschool classes for 2 and 3 year olds, and Pre-K classes for 4 and 5 year olds. For more information, click here to contact the preschool.


Vacation Bible School (VBS)
During the summer we offer Vacation Bible School. It’s more than just juice and cookies! Popular with kids and parents, our classes fill up fast. Dates, times, and formats vary, so please see the VBS page for the latest info.

 
New Member Classes and Coffee with the Pastor
We offer classes for new members on an as-needed basis. For information on the next class, contact us.
