Christian Education
Mission Statement
Christian Education at Aldersgate United Methodist Church will develop a foundation of faith for a lifelong commitment to God, Christ and the Holy Spirit through Bible studies and classes, prayer, fellowship and giving. The joy of our faith will be experienced through worship, celebration and fun.
Aldersgate UMC strives to provide Christian Education for people of all ages. We offer a variety of study experiences.
Adult Education and Bible Study
(Sundays and\or Wednesdays)

Children's Sunday School
Children and youth are welcome to worship with their families. At the early service, children stay with their parents until the pastor’s “Time with the Children,” then go to One room Sunday school. This is open to grades 1st through 5th.
At the 10:45 am service, children stay with their parents until the pastor’s “Time with the Children.” After which, children preschool through 5th grade go to classes until 11:45.
Note that there is a "Cry Room" in the back of the sanctuary with a full view and audio of the service for infants if needed.
Youth Sunday School
Offered to youth in grades 5th-12th. For more information click here.
Aldersgate Christian Preschool (ACP)
Aldersgate Christian Preschool offers preschool classes for 2, 3, and 4 year old children, and Pre-K classes for 5 year olds. For more information, click here to contact the preschool.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
During the summer we offer Vacation Bible School. It’s more than just juice and cookies! Popular with kids and parents, our classes fill up fast. Dates, times, and formats vary, so please see the VBS page for the latest info.
New Member Classes and Coffee with the Pastor
We offer classes for new members on an as-needed basis. For information on the next class, contact us.
